- ↑ Source:Vinton, John Adams. Richardson Memorial, p. 536, says Dorcas Richardson had "By second husband": Samuel, Lucy and Mary Lynde. It gives no details for any of them. Records found for Samuel and Lucy show they were children of Samuel's first wife, not Dorcas, who was already 44 when she married Samuel. No record of Mary's birth is found, but presumably she belonged to the first wife as well, since the first wife's name was Mary. Also, presumably, she was the "Mary Lynd of Leicester" that married, in Spencer, 1766, to Amos Adams (see Source:Adams, Andrew N. Genealogical History of Henry Adams, of Braintree, Mass., and His Descendants, p. 529, or Source:Spencer, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records to the End of the Year 1849, p. 127).
