Anaconda Standard, 15 February 1900 page 10 Early Morning Fire Defective Chimney the Cause of a Small Blaze. The fire department was called out at 1 o’clock this morning to a fire which started in a frame dwelling at 32 East Quartz street from a defective chimney. The house is occupied by two families, Mrs. Patrick McDonald having the rooms on the ground floor and Mrs. M. McTucker the upper floor. Sparks escaping from the chimney between the ceiling and floor dividing the two stories set fire to the building. The damage was only nominal.
