have seen some information that believes her maiden name may be Hipsley. Information suggests that when she died she left Almira with her brother Nicholas Hipsley. There is a Nicholas Hipsley in Vermont Twp, Fulton Co., IL in 1860. Also suggests that she left son William H. with brother Amos, but I cannot find a brother Amos. If this information is correct, one of Almyra's sisters married a Cassidy.
