Mary Higham's origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is on 16th October 1802 when she married Jonathan Perry at Tingrith in Bedfordshire. They went on to have two sons baptised at Tingrith in 1804 and 1809. Mary appears to have died in 1812, being buried at Tingrith on 25th August 1812. She and Jonathan had been married for just under ten years. He outlived her by nearly 48 years, but does not appear to have remarried. References
