- Source:Banvard, Theodore James Fleming. Goodenows Who Orginated in Sudbury, Massachusetts, 1638 A.D presents a very non-conclusive set of facts for Mary, including two marriage dates to John Goodenow, two birth dates, each with a different set of parents, a possible death date of 12 Apr 1818 based on a Sudbury record that says "Mrs. Goodnow", and never mentions the first marriage to Isaac Reed? The earlier marriage date, its source not given, but being about five week earlier than the other, is probably the date of intentions. The two proposed parents are Daniel and Lydia, and Ahijah and Elizabeth. Sudbury records show that the daughter of Ahijah d. 1740, so there should be no confusion.
