CRABTREE, Mary Beatrice, age 86, of Route 1, Lynden, passed away at her home Thursday morning, June 1, (1950) following a short illness. Mrs. Crabtree had been a resident of the Lynden district for the past 61 years. She was a charter member of the Assembly of God Church in Lynden and a member of the Clam Diggers Association and the W.C.T.U. Surviving relatives include her husband, B. C. Crabtree; two daughters, Mrs. May Easterbrook, of Sumas, and Mrs. Laura Cole, of Route 1, Custer; two sons, Arthur and Harry, both of Route 1, Lynden; 25 grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Survivors also include Mrs. Catherine Buckholz and Henry Crabtree, both of Tacoma, and John Buzzard, of Route 3, Lynden, who were raised by Mrs. Crabtree. Funeral services will be conducted within the Assembly of God Church in Lynden, Saturday, June 3, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ross Chittim officiating. Interment in the Lynden Cemetery under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home in Lynden.
