↑ The will of Samuel Grow of Westborough in 1764 (Worcester Probate 26067) explicitly names grand daughter Mary Whitny, his estate going to his wife and grandchildren (note that daughter Mary (Grow) Whitney d. 1761). In 1775 Samuel Whitney, Alexander Whitney, and Joshua Whitney quitclaimed to John Harrington (who married their sister Mary Whitney) their right in any part of their grandfather Samuel Grow's estate that comes to them when their grandmother Deberah Grow should die.
