Mary Lucinda's obituary Mary Lucinda Gross, daughter of John and Elizabeth Gross was born in Auglaize Co OH on Oct 20, 1857. She passed away on Sunday Dec 21, 1941. She came to Lima, Wisconsin with her parents at t he a ge of 5 years. She was untied in marriage to Jacob Richard on NOv 11, 1882 at Richland Center, Wi. To this union were born 9 children: John Richard of San Diego, CA; Mrs. George Aumock of LA Farge; Mark Richard of Lorain OH; Mrs. Irvin Withrow of LA Farge ;Mamie Richard of Clinton, Iowa, Jake at home and Mrs. Hobart Waddell of La Farge. Preceding her in death were 2 daughters, one passing away in infancy and Berkie Gift ( 1936), one grandchild and one great grandchild. She became a member of the Baptist Church at the age of 15 and has been a faithful servant of this belief until her death at the a ge of 84 years 2 months and 1 day. Surviving her are her aged husband, 8 children, 21 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren , 2 aged brothers John Gross of La Farge,Wi and Douglas of Wheeler, Mi and a host of realtives and friends. She was everthing a mother could be and will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends. Funeral services were held at the home of Tuesday afternoon, Dec 23, at 2pm. Rev.L.Homes was in charge. The 4 sons in laws were bearers. She w as laid to rest in the BAptist Cemetary near La Farge. Causes of death: Hypostatic Pneumonia , Chronic Myocarditis, general arthritus deformans
