    [4] Died at Beaufort, Port Republic, on the night of 4th inst. in the 80th year of her age. Mrs. Mary Barnwell, relict of Col. Nathaniel Barnwell, dec. The very many virtues and engaging qualifications in social life secured this venerable Lady, the esteem of an extensive acquaintance, and real affection of an ancient and respectable connection. She has left a numerous progeny to unite in general sympathy; and her remains were interred in the family vault with all that degree of respect which she justly merited.
