Alice Baker we learn the fate of several of the young captives in Can., and to her we are indebted for most of what will be given in that direction. Apr. 6. 1706, O. S., Mary French, who was living with James Le Be, was bap. at Montreal; she was 19 yrs. old, but escaped the snare, and was redeemed by Ens. Sheldon that yr."
