    MARY FISHER
    WIFE OF STILLMAN BARBER
    1819 - 1898

  4. Allred, p. 25, identified Stillman Barber's wife as d/o Israel and Hannah Fisher, b. 1792. Besides being a quarter century older than Stillman, this is disproved by the gravestone, death record and every census she appears in. Neither Mary Fisher, the daughter of Israel or the daughter of Moses, is shown with a husband under the Fisher coverage p. 99-100, rather Stillman's wife is listed as an unplaced Mary Fisher with no parents or birthdate given. The daughter of Israel actually married Leonard Adams. Note: Allred also gives the daughter of Moses the name "Mary D." which is apparently the result of misinterpreting the ditto abbreviation in the birth record. Sigh!
