↑ No sign of this Mary is found in Canterbury, either church or town records, before her marriage, but the Ensworth family was numerous there. Probably Joseph Ensworth and Mary Cleveland were too old to be her parents, but she could be a grand daughter, named after the grandmother by one of her sons. In 1742, Tyxhall Ensworth and Jerusha Fitch marry, which seems too late, but we don't know how accurate the age at death is.
