Mary Curry was my 3rd great grandmother. She was born in 1839 in New York State. She married Robert Willett Edwards on 6 Dec 1859 in New York City in the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church with no listed parents or witnesses. In the 1860 Census they are in NYC and she claims birth of New York. By the 1870 census they had Henry Moore Edwards, Madeleine Edwards, Alice Coe Edwards, and Louise Edwards. She appears to have died soon after the 1870 census as Robert has a 2nd wife of Margaret Smith and a nine year old son James Ross Edwards attributed to Margaret in the 1880 census. I have found a Mary Curry in the 1850 census in NYC in the household of a Marg Harrison (best I can make out) and another Mary Curry in the household of a Samuel Curry about the right age. If anyone has any ideas about the parentage of Mary Curry- it would be greatly appreciated.
