Mary Jane, wife of William F. Wall, peacefully passed into rest at her home near the Reservoir , on the morning of August 25th. She was born in the town of Truxton, September 10, 1835, and was reared up in a large family of brothers and sisters, where she early exemplified those principle of self-sacrifice which made her such a worthy woman and such a devoted wife and mother. At her marriage, September 4, 1859, they settled near the High Bridge, and there she joined with her husband, with heart and hand, in getting a home and making home pleasant and the dear ones happy. As Providence smiled upon their labors they moved to the larger farm at the Reservoir, where they lived twenty-three years, raising their family and acquiring a competence. With great faith in God and a strong attachment to her family, it seemed her highest joy to spend and ___ for the good of husband, children and friends; and having fulfilled her duty, and with a good hope in the life everlasting, she peacefully passed into rest.
