Mary Ann Cleckner entered White Hall Soldiers Orphan School 16 Sept 1867. She left the school 26 Oct 1869 on her 16th birthday. She was reportedly adopted by J.L. Paul and was living with his family in the 1870 Census. In this census she is listed as a domestic servant. She later married W. Scott Miller. Following his death, she lived with various brothers.
