CHAMBERLIN, Mary, w. Moses, [died], July 27, 1725.
Source:Clapp, Ebenezer. Clapp Memorial, p. 16, shows no daughter for Samuel Clapp and Mary Paul, though it appears the birth of one is recorded in Dorchester VRs, p. 43, on 29 Apr 1699, and a daughter Mary is listed in the probate as one of the heirs.
Unfortunately, she is referred to as Mary Clap in the probate in 1726. This is not conclusively negative, as judges often were unaware of married names already in use, but it does not provide any concrete evidence in the positive direction either. So, this Mary looks like a good candidate, but more research is necessary.
