    Pat was born on August 15, 1898 in Leavenworth Kansas to Thomas and Grace Orton Carney.

    Pat started work for Santa Fe Railway in 1922 and was a clerk in the car accounting department. In 1963, she retired from Santa Fe Railway.

    She was an active volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Topeka Rescue Mission.

    She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, Santa Fe Old Timers Club and was a 50 year member of Topeka Chapter No. 452 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a graduate of the Flo V. Menninger Bible Class.

    Pat united in marriage to Fred A. Fox on October 15,1950 in Topeka Kansas.

    Besides Fred, she is survived by three sisters, Julia, Helen and Louise all of Topeka. Her parents precede her in death.
