Burke and Alvord Memorial, p. 17, makes many errors regarding the family of John Burke/Burt, including naming this daughter Margaret, apparently (we can only guess why) reading the relatively clear Mary of the birth record 3rd from bottom,p. 8 as Marg. (compare the y to the g of daughter, for example)? Since Margaret was not followed, the author apparently never saw the later records giving her name as Mary, such as her marriage to Jonathan Farnsworth (Groton VRs, p. 2:37) and the births of their children recorded in both Groton and Harvard.
