    Mary Blanford m. 5 Oct 1652 Jonathan Padelford or Padelfoote, then m. (2) abt 1662 Thomas Eames, and was killed by the Indians in Framingham 1 Feb 1675-6.

A book call Framingham Legends & Lore, p. 20, describes "The Eames Massacre", where Mary Eames was killed and several children were killed or captured, which it lists as Mary Eames killed, Zachariah Paddleford captured and escape, Edward Paddleford killed, Thomas Eames Jr. killed, Samuel Eames captured and escaped, Margaret Eames capturne and ransomed, Nathaniel Eames captured and escaped, Sarah and Lydia Eames, one killed and the other captured but never returned. The six youngest were from the marriage of Mary to Thomas Eames, the rest from their respective first marriages.
