OBITUARY SCHLEICHER FUNERAL Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Schleicher, 80, Ripon, who died last Friday at Ripon Municipal Hospital after a lingering illness, were held Monday. Born in the Town of Rose, Waushara County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bade. She lived in Rose until her marriage to George Schleicher of Almond April 25, 1907. The resided in Almond until they moved to a farm near Oasis. She had resided in Ripon the past 38 years. The Rev. R. D. Ziesemer officiated at the Monday services for Mrs. Schleicher, which were held at the Butzen Funeral Home, Ripon. Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery. Mrs. Schleicher was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Delores Shippen, Almond, and Mrs. William (Evelyn) Splitt, Ripon; two sons, Lloyd Schleicher and Darwin Schleicher, both of Ripon; two sisters, Mrs. Eva E. Olson, Stevens Point, and Mrs. Rose Yeager, Park Falls; one Brother, Herman Bade, Oshkosh; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Eva E. Olson and daughter, Mrs. Edward Kobishop, Stevens Point, attended the funeral of Mrs. Schleicher. Three sons of Mrs. Olson served as pallbearers. They were Vilas Olson, Beloit, and Marvin and Phillip Olson, both of Green Lake.
