    I, Marvin Briggs, the undersigned, hereby apply for a marriage license to be issued to myself, aged 21 years, whose residence is Ada R#5, State of Okla., and M. Beulah McKinley, aged 18 years, whose residence is Vanoss, State of Okla., and for the purpose of procuring the same, do solemnly swear that I have personal knowledge of the facts herein stated; that the names, ages and place of residence of said parties are truly and correctly set out above; that neither of said parties are disqualified or incapable under the law of entering in the marriage relation, nor are they related to each otherwithin the degree prohibited by law. That I am 21 years of age, and reside at Ada, County of Pontotoc, State of Okla.

Beulah McKinley, of Vanoss, County of Pontotoc, State of Okla., age 18 years. And of this license you will make due return to my office within thirty days from this date. Witness my hand and seal, at Ada, in said County, this 25 day of Nov. in A.D. 1927.

Johnson, Minister of the Gospel in Vanoss of Pontotoc County, State of Oklahoma, do hereby certify that I joined in marriage the persons named in and authorized by this License to be married, on the 26 day of Nov., A.D. 1927 at Vanoss, Okla., in Pontotoc County, State of Oklahoma, in the presence of W.L.     "Last Saturday morning at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley, Marvin Briggs and Miss Beulah McKinley were quietly married. Eld. Johnson, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. The bride wore a powder blue georgette dress daintily trimmed with rosebuds. The bride and groom have many friends who wish them much happiness. Miss Beulah will be missed from the Methodist Sunday School, being a good singer she has also been of great help to the young peoples training class at the Baptist church. Mr. and Mrs. Briggs will make their home at Lawrence for the present. They will be missed here, but will make a brighter corner where'er they be."
