He was born in Gamert, Holland and was a son of the late Antonious and Johanne (Van Alphan) Van Asseldonk. Beloved husband of Frances (Van Arkel) Van Asseldonk. Dear father and father-in-law of Tony & Joan Van Asseldonk of London, Maria & Rick Kerr, Joanne & John Debruyn, Bernie & Harley Taylor, all of Wallaceburg, Lawrence & Aline Van Asseldonk of Sarnia, Robert & Kelly Van Asseldonk of Alberta and Linda Van Asseldonk of Wallaceburg. Loving Opa of Brandon, Dean, Michael, Steven, Stacey, Annette, Anthony, Christopher, Megan, Luke, Cathrine and loving great Opa of Ashley and Adrianna. Kind brother of Nolda, Riek, Annie, Jan, Theo and Adrian, all of Holland. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter Annette, two sisters Mein and Toos and a brother Anton.
