↑ Martha "Shummua" [?] is named as a daughter between Hannah and Mary in her father's will. Given her marriage in 1741-2 she would be expected to be born about 1721 and the gap around 1723 seems the most likely. It is not known if she was born in Marlborough, or Sutton, or somewhere else, but probably if she had been born in Marlborough her birth would have been recorded.
