SHEARMAN, Martha, of Job and Amy, Portsmouth, [born] Jan. 28, 1738-9 [Note: compare to Sherman Genealogy, also age at death (subtracting 11 days from the death date for calendar shift), and it appears the month should be Nov. Possibly this is confusion by Arnold on how to interpret month 11. Since at the time of birth month 11 was January, perhaps the record was recorded much later, and so used a new style month. Need access to the original to analyze.]
