    BRISCOE - The death of Mrs. Matilda Augusta (Tillie) Briscoe age 77years, of 309 25th Street W., Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital onJanuary 3rd, 1971. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January8th at 1:30 p.m. from First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. William R.Wood. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saskatchewan Heart Fund, 511Canada Building, Saskatoon would be appreciated). Surviving are: herloving husband, Reuben; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Horner (Joy) of BlaineLake; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters: Mrs. J. G.Kuehl and Mrs. Samuel Henderson, both of Killaloe, Ontario. She waspredeceased by a son, Ted in 1942. Mrs. Briscoe was born in Killaloeand came west to Wiseton where she homesteaded with her husband andcontinued to farm in the district until 1926. For the past 44 years shehad resided in Saskatoon. Mrs. Briscoe was a member of First BaptistChurch and was active in Mission Circles. She had been a member of theWalter Murray Chapter of I.O.D.E. Interment will take place in WoodlawnCemetery. Saskatoon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
