Mrs. Reynolds Dies Today Funeral Services To Be Held Saturday

Mrs. Martha Rayburn Reynolds, 87, widow of Jonas Reynolds, died at her home on Bath Avenue at 9:00 this morning.

A daughter of the late William and Mary Jackson Rayburn, she was a native of this county. She was reared in the Kendall Springs section, later moving to the Sees vicinity.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter Quisenberry and Mrs. T. L. Jones of Montgomery County, and Virgil Reynolds, Fred Reynolds, Walter Reynolds, and Clay Reynolds, all of Bath County; one sister, Mrs. Lou Fisher, Millersburg; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter--Clarence Reynolds, Talmadge Reynolds, and Anne Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held at the Owingsville Christian Church at 10:30 Saturday morning, conducted by the Rev. George C. Frey and the Rev. D. R. Bennet. Burial will be in the Owingsville cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: active, Ewell Stone, Harold Reynolds, Deward Reynolds, Ed Razor, Bobby Barnes, Robert Gilmore; honorary, Dr. H. S. Gilmore, Dr. D. C. Dotson, Rollie Wilson, Ernest Swetnam, Chester Smoot, Johnnie Everman, Mike Carpenter, Jeff Carpenter, Robert Thompson, Oscar Conyers, Charlie Darnell, Lewis Staton, Jeff Clark, and Albert Baker.
