Martha Munday was baptised on 21st December 1792 at Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire, daughter of John and Elizabeth Munday.

On 8th June 1814, aged 21, Martha married Joseph Perry at Eversholt, a few miles south of Marston. They settled in Eversholt after their marriage, having six children baptised there between 1815 and 1830.

The 1841 census finds the family living at Froxfield in Eversholt, with Joseph working as an agricultural labourer. Martha's younger sister Hannah was also living with them. They were still at Froxfield in 1851, when Martha was described as a laundress, whilst Joseph was an under gardener at that time.

Joseph died in 1854, aged 60. After his death Martha remained living in the parish of Eversholt, but moved to the hamlet of Hills End, where she was living in 1861 with her sister and youngest daughter. She was still working as a laundress.

Martha died in 1864, aged 71.

Needs to be confirmed at Bedfordshire Record Office. John and Elizabeth also had a daughter Hannah Holdam [Oldham?] Munday baptised at Marston Moretaine in 1797 who will presumably be the sister Hannah O. Munday who lived with Martha in the censuses.
