Services for Martha Mae Rogers, 50 Athens were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Willow Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers died Sunday evening at her residence following a long illness. She was born April 29, 1935 in Dallas. She was a housewife and lived in Athens for most of her life. She was a member of the West Athens Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Rogers of Athens, two sons Hank Lee Rogers and Dee Wayne Rogers of Athens, three daughters, Marsha Diane Keeton, Cathy Wakeham and Sherryl LeAnn Rogers all of Athens, mother Mrs. Willie Malcom of Malakoff, five brothers Charlie Malcom of Malakoff, Johnny Malcom, Billy Ray Malcom and O. J. Malcom of Athens, Dewey Dewayne malcom of Dallas, two sisters Pearl Circkles of Bonham and Debra Shubert of Athens and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Roy Rogers, Danny Circkles, Bobby Joe Rogers, Jackie Circkles, Tracey Mark Boyd and Johnny Roberson
