Information in Emma White's book indicated that she had received a letter that said that Martha Ann and her husband had 7 children but the letter only mentioned 6. Marriage date is shown as 1851 in Emma Siggons White book, The Descendants of John Walker of Wigton, Scotland." 1880 Lincoln Township, Jasper County, Missouri Census lists both parents being born in Alabama 1900 census has born in Tennessee The Sarcoxie Record Date of Publication: March 8, 1918 Obituary: OCTOGENARIAN DEAD OF PARALYSIS Mrs. Martha Gasperson, 83 years old, died of paralysis last Saturday at her home four miles east of Maple Grove.
