HUNT, Martha, d. Thomas and Martha, [born] June 2, 1725.
↑Source:Wyman, Thomas Bellows. Genealogy of the Name and Family of Hunt : Early Established in America from Europe : Exhibiting Pedigrees of Ten Thousand, p. 87, says Martha "Ob. a. 7 years". No record of her death is found, and the possibility is that Wyman mis-interpreted the guardian's accounting. Case 12297: indicates that the guardian supported Martha until the age of 7, but it also says the same for sisters Mary and Silence, this being how long the father's estate could be charged for raising children. The account, which is dated 7 Jun 1742, does mention medicine "when sick of the meazles" and a separate item "for nursing her in her last sickness".
