Children of Joseph and Margaret Hunt of Milton: Martha, b. 2 Feb 1700, m. --- Forbes.
[Note: Wyman reports the birth in 1700 when the records say 1701 (and for brother Alexander 1698 when the records say 1699), leading to the less typical double-dating of 1700/01. The original record for Milton does not seem to be online, and the town copy online does not seem to list Martha's birth (expected to be on this page) preventing inspection for the actual text and/or contextual clues. It is not entirely clear that Wyman is correct?? It is also not clear how Wyman knows Martha married a Mr. Forbes, as the father had no will and his probate file only mentions an advance on her portion to Martha Hunt in the accounting Vol. 23, p. 157 (possibly at the time of her marriage?) But circumstantially the time of the marriage and the names given the children suggest this is correct.]
