This doesn't look good because of the A. middle initial and jholt's 18 SEP 1881 Bedford death. It looks to me as if either this birth date or this death date is wrong. How cd the 1880 census have gotten the age of a child wrong by 8 years? Is there any possibility Mary Jane and Martha Caroline got mixed up on the censuses? 1860 District 25, Bedford, Tennessee, lists Mary Holt 7 but her birthdate is supposed to be 9 Jun 1840! Susie Helme
