    Martha was the daughter of J. G. Holland and Penelope C. (Presson) Holland.

    She married John Allen Williams in Benton CO, TN on December 14, 1882. John had been married previously, and he had several children from his first marriage. Martha and John had one child together, Lewis. Sadly, their son lost his life in a tornado shortly after he was married.
