Martha Hamilton was born in Virginia, Sept. 25, 1787 [sic], she was a daughter of Andrew Hamilton and
Isabella [Martha] Kinkead,
both moved from Virginia and settled in Woodford County, Ky., in 1794. [Error - it was son, Andrew Jr. who moved to Woodford, KY]
It is not clear if Martha d/o Andrew Hamilton Jr. and Isabella Kincaid existed as Perrin says in the same paragraph that "Martha Hamilton" m. James Wright in 1776. The wife of James Wright is generally accepted as the sister of Andrew Hamilton Jr., not his daughter. Additional proof is needed that Andrew Hamilton Jr. also had a daughter named Martha.
