History of the Town of Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, from Its First Settlement in 1630 to 1855, p. 519, lists a daughter Abigail, but gives no birth date, no marriage, and no further information of any kind. No trace of her is found in the Medford or Sutton records, she is not mentioned in her father's will. Source:Hall, David Brainerd. Halls of New England, Genealogical and Biographical, p. 300, says she m. 31 Mar 1734 Joseph Willard. No such marriage is found in VRs nor is it mentioned in Source:Willard, Joseph. Willard Genealogy. There is no sign of Martha nor any heirs of hers in her father's will. It is believed the marriage is confusion with Percival's granddaughter Hannah Rice who married Joseph Willard, and it is not clear this Martha ever existed.
