POLGLASE - The many many of Mrs Martha Polglase widow of Mr. Stephen Polglase will regret to learn of her death at the residence of her daughter Mrs.F.A.Miller Roeder St., Ironbark after a brief illness at the age of 78 years. Deceased go was born in Cornwall came to Australia at the age of five years and with her parents settled in Bendigo. She was the second eldest daughter of the late Mr. John Basett the well known mine owner of Sailors Gully and Eaglehawk. Her husband pre- deceased her by 17 years. The funeral yesterday to White Hills Cemetery was attended by friends and relatives. The casket covered with flowers was carried to the grave by Messrs W.Polglase, H.Polglase, J.Trimble and W.BlaNdthorne. The service in the home and the graveside was conducted by Mr.H.J.Moorhead Mr.W.Farmer had charge
