    "Mark Warner (2): son of John Warner of Ipswich, Brookfield and Hadley. He came from Brookfield to Hadley, and m. Abigail Montague, daughter of Richard Montague. Only two children. Mark Warner removed from Hadley to Northampton as early as 1687, and perhaps before, lived some years on the lot on the corner of Bridge and Hawley Streets. His wife d. Feb. 4, 1705. In 1713 he m. widow Mary Root, of Westfield, a woman with a good estate and no children, and he resided with her much of the time till her death, in 1732; afterward he resided in Northampton till his death which occurred, May 3, 1738, at the age of 92."
