Marion graduated from the Buffalo General Hospital as a registered nurse. She worked at the Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY. Not only an excellent nurse, she was an excellent seamstress and flower arranger. - Marjorie (Gilray) Crosgrove

Marion was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She also held memberships in the Dunkirk Nurses' Association, the Tenants Association of the Joseph Steger Apartments and the Dunkirk Garden Club which she served as past president.
