    Marion H. Armstrong, son of William H. and Elizabeth Armstrong, was born May 9, 1868, and departed this life June 10, 1929, age 61 years, 1 month, and 1 days.

    He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Frakes April 12, 1889. To this union four children were born; Grayson E. Armstrong, Estella Armstrong, William O. Armstrong and Archie L. Armstrong.

    He became a member of the Christian church while yet a young man and steadfastly kept the faith until the end.

    Mr Armstrong was a kind husband, a loving father and loyal friend to all who knew him. The community has lost a good citizen.

    The funeral was held at the Old Union church Wednesday of last week. Leonard Cummins was in charge.
