Marilyn Dee Musgrove Poole, 64, of Omak, died March 23, 2001 at her home in Omak.
Marilyn was born Oct. 14, 1936 in Woodland, CA to Jacob and Hazel (Cambert) Musgrove. She grew up in Woodland, CA. She attended Stanford College and later Stephens College in Columbia, MO.
Marilyn married Herbert L. Poole Sept. 9, 1956 at the Stateline, Tahoe, NV.
Marilyn returned to college in 1978 and received her Bachelor and Masters Degree in Human Services from Fort Wright College in Spokane. She worked as a Mental Health Counselor for approximately three years. She also worked as a Travel Agent for nine years.
Marilyn loved to travel, make quilts, do genealogy research and work in her large garden. She loved to read. Marilyn had a Master Gardener's Degree. She had a beautiful yard that she worked very hard to take care of. She was active as a 4-H leader for 20 years. She helped form Pocket Lint Investment Club.
Marilyn was a member of the Okanogan County Genealogical Society.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert L. Poole at home; daughter, Kevin and her husband, Wade Cunningham of Okanogan; daughter, Linda Poole of Malta, MT; son, Michael and his wife, Vicky Poole of Benton City; grandchildren, Jacob Wade Cunningham, Tiffany Michelle Poole and Hailey Maureen Poole.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at the Barnes Chapel Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Paul Ashbrook, officiant.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
