Marilyn Pauline Smith 6/10/1956-12/9/2004 In Loving Memory of Marilyn Smith, born in Santa Monica, CA on June 10, 1956 to her parents Paul and Edith Kinnick was a Rocklin resident for 28 years. She was a graduate of Ontario High School, Class of 1974. Marilyn earned her Barber's license in Sacramento and became the first woman barber in Auburn at Chuck's Barber Shop. Marilyn enjoyed spending summers in Montana at her family's cabin on Flathead Lake and playing with her grandchildren. Marilyn dedicated her life to her family and friends. She attended Heritage Church in Lincoln. Marilyn went to be with the Lord peacefully from home on December 9, 2004. She is survived by her loving husband, Alan and three daughters, Rachelle Hodson, Rhonda Smith and Ragina Slagle. Marilyn was a loving grandmother to Tyler, Jalen and Emma. She is also survived by her brothers, J.D., Steve and Dale Kinnick, as well as by many wonderful friends and family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 from 4:00-7:00 pm and a funeral service on Thursday, December 16, 2004 12:00 pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA. Interment will follow at Rocklin District Cemetery.
