    'I found only three marriages (hazassagok) of Strohebers in the Jasd RC microfilm records, 1828-1895 ...

    24 Nov 1891, Stroheber Istvan, foldmuves (agricultural worker), 18 yrs, of Jasd, single(legeny) , and Benkovics Maria, 18 yrs, single (hajadon). Witnesses were Stroheber Ignacz and Hujber Pal. There is a notation about Istvan ("Had....miniszteri engedllyel", with permission of the military / dept of defence)
    Istvan's parents ( Istvan szulei) were Stroheber Jozsef and Frauberger Anna. Stroheber Jozsef's parents (Jozsef szulei) were Stroheber Pal and Major Katalin.'
