Item from Liberty Journal, Liberty, NY, dated 12 March 1880: The buxom young wife of Eugene Irvin [sic] has been missing since last week. Bob Weasmer, of Parksville, left on the same train. It is thought they have paired and gone westward in search of "fresh fields and pastures new."
