  4. A book called "Salem Possessed" by Paul Boyer identifies Margaret as the daughter of Phillip Knight and Margaret Wilkins, p. 195. The sources cited include the probate documents cited above, Source:Perley, Sidney. History of Salem, Massachusetts, p. 2:295 which says Margaret Wilkins married Phillip Knight but does not there, or anywhere, appear to list their childrens. Also cited is Source:Hill, William Carroll. Family of Bray Wilkins, Patriarch of Will's Hill, of Salem, Middleton, Mass, p. 26, which says Margaret Wilkins married Francis Elliott and shows nobody marrying John Willard. No marriage record has been found, no probate for Philip Knight.
