    She was the daughter of Nimrod or Conrad Snider (also spelled Snyder, Schneider) and Margaret Hytric (or Hidrick--maybe Hedrick or Heydrich). Her father was reportedly a sailor from Germany (or Holland, depending on the source), where he married Margaret, also German. According to some researchers, the family moved from Philadelphia to Harrison Co. and then present-day Gilmer Co., WV.

    Margaret Snider married first John Hall on July 30, 1816 in Harrison County, VA. He was killed by a falling tree one year later.

    She married second Henry Bush, the son of Jacob and Margaret (Snar or Swann) Bush, on April 23, 1822 in (then) Lewis County, Virginia, present day Gilmer Co., WV.

    She was Henry Bush's second wife. He first married Alse Simpson, also buried here, and third, Elizabeth Heckert.

    Margaret's headstone inscription reads: "Second Wife of H. Bush."
