Original will in the possession of Jonni Sue Jessop Schilaty, 5th greatgranddaughter of Margaret Reid, dated 6 June, 1828, states: The last will and testament of Margaret Reid in the Name of God AmenKnowing that it is Appointed for all Once to die I Recommend my Soul toGod who gave it and my Body to be Decently Buried at the discretion of myExecutors and as for my Worldly property such as it has it Has pleasedGod to Bless me with I gave and Bequeth in the Manner following Viz I gave and bequeth to my Second Son James Reid fifty dollars in Cash andmy bed Sted Item I gave and bequeth to my Grand Son John P Reid son of myson James fifty Dollars in Cash. Item I Gave and bequeth fifth son DanielReid fifty Dollars in Cash. Item I gave and bequeth to my Grand Son JamesP Reid son of Daniel Reid fifty Dollars in Cash. Item I gave and bequethto my fourth son John Reid twelve dollars for one bed Sted he gave me.Item I gave and bequeth to my third Daughter Nancy Wiley my bed and beding andall my body cloths and Twenty Dollars in Cash Which the Executor is topay her at my Decease or as soon as she Calls for the Same. Item I gaveand bequeth to my four Grand Daughters Peggy Wiley, Peggy Taylor, PeggyBuntain and Peggy Reid A Small Sum Apiece if there Should be anyRemaining at my Decease after paying What I have Already Bequeathed. And I allow my Executor to divide it Among them as near as they can. Item I gave and bequeth to my Daughter Ann Taylor one Dollar. Item I gave and bequeth to my Son Adam Reid one Dollar. Item I gave and bequeth to my Daughter Elizabeth Buntain one Dollar. Item I gave and bequeth to my Son William Reid one Dollar. Item I gave and bequeth to my Son Andrew Reid one dollar. I Confine and Appoint my two Sons James and Daniel Reid my Executors to this my last will and Testament and I Renounce and Revoke all Former wills and declare this to be my last will made this Sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Eight.
