"White Creek" never knew Marguerite Keaffaber, but he knows of some of her ancestors. I want to note: On her father's side, 5 generations back, there is: Johann Henry Geibel (1792), Elizabeth Glasser (1787) and Jakob Haupert (1773). On her mother's side, there is: Jacob Karns (1796), Elizabeth Maurer (circa 1800), Peter Shultz (1796), and Levi Bean. Levi Bean was the "first white man to settle in north Lagro Township" (of Wabash County).
