Promotes adequate provision for the feebleminded. Conducts lectures, popular meetings, exhibits on mental hygiene; publishes and distributes literature on the causes and means for prevention of insanity. Promotes the establishment of psychopathic clinics and observation wards. Assists individuals, threatened with mental disease, to obtain immediate and competent medical and social treatment. Organizes local committees to further educational work, discover incipient cases, and assist persons discharged, recovered, from State Hospitals for the Insane. Supported by voluntary contributions.
