"Margaret (Huntington), born April 8, 1730, and married first, a Mr. Tracy of Groton, Conn., who fell a sacrifice to a wound received in the attack on Fort Griswold by the traitor Arnold in 1781 [Jeremiah Tracy died at Norwich in 1757]. She had by him one son, Solomon [born 1756], who lived in Middlebury, Vt. [buried at Brandon, Vt.] She married, second, a Mr. Williams [Samuel of Groton], by whom she had several children, one of whom was Temperance, born September 5, 1760, in Groton, Conn., who married Gurdon [Huntington] (1. 3. 4. 4. 2. 4.)"
