Margaret Isabel Foos May 1, 1905 -- Jan. 16, 2007

Margaret Isabel Foos, 101, died early Tuesday morning at Bethesda Care Center in Fremont. She was born in Tiffin on May 1, 1905 to Henry and Myrtle (Clapper) Gross. After Margaret graduated from High School, she then attended Tiffin Business School. On May 25, 1929, Margaret married Alvin A. Foos at St. Joseph Church in Tiffin. They were married 40 years until his death in 1969. Margaret was a homemaker during her life. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Fremont, member of the Third Order of Saint Francis, and belonged to the Blessed Sacrament of the Confraternity. Margaret enjoyed music, colorful hats and roses

Margaret is survived by her children, Sister Elizabeth Foos, R.S.M of Fremont, Jean Marie (Wayne) Tuckerman of Perrysburg, Thomas "Red" Anthony (Audre) Foos of Midland, MI, and John Michael (Suzanne) Foos of Maumee, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alvin, her son Robert A. "Knobby" Foos, her brothers Louis, John and Henry Gross, sister, Catherine Gross and granddaughter Susan Foos.

Visitation: Friday starting at 9 a.m. at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, 416 South Arch Street followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Gerald Ceranowski officiating,

Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials: Our Lady of the Pines Retreat Center, School of Hope or Donor's Choice
